Concrete that generates solar power | Tomorrow Today



The concrete can conduct electricity and, after being coated with organic dyes like fruit juice, produces electricity through artificial photosynthesis. It’s an innovation from researchers at the University of Kassel.

  1. Brilliant ! Would be great if this was used on an industrial level as it could also perhaps provide power to recharge electric cars parked outside houses/offices in near future as well as powering domestic appliances. All the best with your future r&d.

  2. Can you say us the mixing and graphite ratio along with the curing time as we are pursuing the final semester we are very much eager to know the concept behind this so that it will be easy for us to equip ourself.
