  8. Light energy increases the potential in the N-type, cuboid to pentagon geometry. At the junction force transfer is from N to P where Boron pyramid with an extra electron enter unstable equilibrium cuboid.
    A good conductor allows near 'c' force eject reverting Boron to pyramid stability. And reverting N-type to prior state for potential gain for the next cycle.

  10. 3:16: Should the separating electrons and holes not destroy the electric field? I mean electrons travel to the positive pole and neutralize it?

  11. 1)How does the depletion region generate proton and neutron?
    2)how does phosphorus attract proton instead of repelling it because positive and positive will repel and same with the negative (thats why i ask this because i want explanation)

  14. Thanks. Very well explained. My question is, Sun gives us Light and Heat energy. With solar cell, as explained, only light energy is converted into electric energy. Sun's Heat energy is wasted. In case, we have a system, by which Sun's Heat energy is also converted into electric energy simultaneously, then efficiency would have been higher.
