How do Solar cells work?

In the last two decades the contribution of solar energy to the world’s total energy supply has grown significantly. This video will show how solar cell or photovoltaic cell produce electricity.

Check out this interesting video from New Physicist to learn more about PV cells –

  1. And "When you are bonded with someone you lose your freedom" … not if you're doing things right. If you're a loose person that wants to have harams or be promiscuious though, makes sense that you see it in that warped way.

  2. Bad idea to mix sexual/relationship politics with scientific objective matters. Specially with the images you did. Just letting you know for future reference.

  3. Sand? I thought that was a myth and they use mined quartz. And isn't carbon Coal? Not very environmentally friendly at all…

  4. I like how there was a low key jab at marriage in there. “When you are bonded to someone, you lose your freedom.”

  5. if you want to know how to make it yourself , just go to Avasva . There you'll find your answers 🙂

  6. sir how the half cut multi crystalline monoperc solar panel works as it achieves higher efficiency than monocrystalline panaels

  7. one video explain all thing thank u so much due to this video intrest have beeen develop on me to read physics more😇

  8. Light energy increases the potential in the N-type, cuboid to pentagon geometry. At the junction force transfer is from N to P where Boron pyramid with an extra electron enter unstable equilibrium cuboid.
A good conductor allows near 'c' force eject reverting Boron to pyramid stability. And reverting N-type to prior state for potential gain for the next cycle.

  9. I am an EEE student when my professor explain the process of parallelism and series but now I understood very clearly Many thanks Lecis

  10. 3:16: Should the separating electrons and holes not destroy the electric field? I mean electrons travel to the positive pole and neutralize it?

  11. 1)How does the depletion region generate proton and neutron?
2)how does phosphorus attract proton instead of repelling it because positive and positive will repel and same with the negative (thats why i ask this because i want explanation)

  12. 4:51 Anyone else sees rainbows when looking at this picture right here? It always happens when there is a texture of dense black and white lines but I've never questioned what it is. You guys know anything about this? Where can I learn more?

  13. Thanks for your earlier vedios, can I get the on grid solar power plant operations animation vedio…
    Thanks inadvance…

  14. Thanks. Very well explained. My question is, Sun gives us Light and Heat energy. With solar cell, as explained, only light energy is converted into electric energy. Sun's Heat energy is wasted. In case, we have a system, by which Sun's Heat energy is also converted into electric energy simultaneously, then efficiency would have been higher.

  15. "we need help from the second most abundant element on earth…sand!"

    yeah…..sand isn't an element, champ.
