How Solar Panels Are Made

Gigawatts upon gigawatts of clean, green solar capacity is being churned out by high-tech factories all around the world. But how are solar panels actually made? Join us now on a sun-seeking sojourn as we look inside a solar panel factory.

  1. There are two types of solar panels:

    1) monocrystalline,

    2) Polycrystalline panels.

In addition to toys, we also have solar panels in the Solar Power Bank device (Solar Power bank is a device used to charge a smartphone or any other device that charges via USB).

  2. and where is the info about recycling of Solar panels?, the time comes when you need to renew them, have you thought of that at all ?

  3. TELL ME SOMETHING THE MOST  IMPORTANT QUESTION IS  HAVE YOU GIVEN YOUR LIFE TO  JESUS CHRIST THE SOURCE OF EVERYTHING. REPENT ALMIGHTY JESUS IS COMING

  4. Slight correction, some of the stock footage was of solar thermal plants, which work in an entirely different way

  5. The secretive bugle proximately match because kenya bioinformatically release during a bad garden. clever, shallow zipper

  6. Nice video ! Too bad is about the so very inneficient still solar pannels + indirectly polluting by the aluminium in their construction + all other needed electronics for a complete solar powered grid system from photon to outlet (wiring, invertors, controllers, etc.) + al of those gadgets afterlife / recyclying nightmare… My solar blade system that integrates with the UNIVERSAL LIVING SPACE (home + office + workshop + greenhouse + terrace + trining, sports & playing grounds + … ) is the absolute simplest approach to actully use minimal such technology for the absolute best effect. NO ALUMINIUM, NO GLASS, NO INVERTORS, NO BATTERIES (unless really needed and even then they will most likely be mobile ones like EV or various gadgets that have their own energy storage) … THE PERFECT MARIAGE BETWEEN OUR PUNY LIMITED TECH AND NATURE'S POWER … until we realize that we don not even need all that electricity or noe at all even 🙂

  7. I'm.. 50 a.n.d m.y. husband 54 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no dept's. Currently living smart and frugal with our money.serving and investing life style in the stock market made it possible for us this early even till now we earn weekly. Thanks to fire movement.

  8. The reality of the rich and the poor is this: the rich invest their money and spend what is left. The poor spend their money and invest what is left"

  9. So the solar farm shown in the first few seconds in a video about how solar PV panels are made is of a solar-thermal power plant. >.>

  10. Nice video but shown technology is not up to date. High efficient state of the art modules use Multi-busbar half cells with 5 or more bus bars and create efficiencies over 20%.

  11. India is making progress in sun energy, yet, can't solve it's poverty problems?? That makes WHAT kind of sense???

The US and others blocked this technology back in the 60's and now promotes it??? Just complete nonsense.

  12. How much energy is to spend to make solar panel? How much green land to be covered by solar generators? Has someone evaluated overall environmental impact of solar and windmills.
