Reminder po off grid system are good if you know how to deal with dis system no matter how big or small it is, madami kayong dapat malaman sa mga bagay na ito otherwise mag sasayang kayo ng pera at panahon at mauwi lang sa wala ang pinag hirapan nyo. i been using dis system for more than 11 years until now and producing 6.5Kw dito sa bahay ko. any quiery will be given free of charges. wala po akong binibenta at di rin nag kakabit libangan ko lang ito., im happy with my DIY off grid systen.

    Dito sa Philippines may 4.5 to 5 pick Sun hour average per day so Sabihin na natin na 4.5 lang
    So 5,670 times 4.5 = 25,515
    So nasa 25,515 Ang full Capacity Ang maibigay Ng kanyang solar panel per Day

  8. Great presentation. I just like to point out that computation of ROI should consider interest rates. The value of half a million spent upfront is very different from spreading it for several years after. Anyway, another economic issue that is always ignored is the use of space. Even if you have a roof to place the panels on you still have other equipment that will occupy space (or in this case a parcel of land) which you wouldn't be able to use for other purposes. This has economic value as well. Also maintenance does not only mean buying new batteries or failed eqpt. It also includes additional housekeeping and calling technicians from time to time if anything abnormal occurs. Nevertheless going solar is great, I just like people to be more realistic about the economics of it. Thanks for sharing.

  9. normally we do not compute ROI on off-grid system. wala talagang ROI jan. same as using generator, we do not compute ROI. I think mas appropriate do comparison ng Off-grid solar VS Generator set.

  10. Panu kung gamitan ng mini windmil boss para macharge or para madagdagan ung energy mo malamang nmn kahit gabi kahit papano may hangin sa gabi dva at umaga

Wala kaming kuryente for 20days kaya maganda talaga pag may solar system ka kasi after bagyo atleast kahit refrigerator lang yung gagana ay malaking tulong na.

Importante dyan yung battery.dapat na damihan.compute mo yung watts at kung ilang battery gagamitin mo.example 3000 w /12volts =250 amp.so sobrang lake .dapat gamitin mga 18or 20 pcs na 12volts para masuplay nya ang 3000 watts.12volts x 18pcs na12 volts =216 volts..3000watts /216 volts=13.8 amp.so ganyan dapat pagcompute ng battery na gagamitin.

  15. Puwede bang ikaw na lang bumili ng system (inverters, batteries, etc.) and then hire ka na lang ng malupit na installer? Or hindi ba magii-install ang mga solar installers unless sa kanila ka rin bumili ng gamit? Kasi parang sa mga nakikita kong nagoo-offer ng off-grid solar system install, ang papanget ng equipment na kinakabit nila and yet sky's the langit ang presyo. Parang mga generic na binibili lang sa alibaba. Looking at Kulas' setup, parang generic iyong ginamit na inverter. Kasi in the long run parang mas okay pa yata na gumastos ka na ng mas malaki up front for a reputable brand tulad ng Victron inverter na talagang subok na subok nang ginagamit for off-grid use and may ten year full replacement warranty pa kesa sa generic alibaba na hindi mo sure kung kelan bibigay and kung gaano ka-comprehensive iyong warranty. Importante kasi 'to lalo na kung nasa probinsya ka, let's say a retirement farm or a beach house, na wala talagang access sa kuryente and umaasa ka lang sa off-grid system mo.

Overprice estimate "No Good" battery is cheap starts only 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, the most expensive 600mah is 100 dollars each or 5 thousand pesos,or 5 libo lng. your 12v Battery in the Philippines is low grade 200mah and so expensive? Bullshet. And inverter is cheap too the most or better inverter is priced only 3 hundred dollars or 15 thousand pesos or 15 libo, at good enough to do a good job in your solar and battery power system.

  18. Maganda Ang set up, practical at MADALING UNAWAIN.
    Wrt to the subject an ROI of say 15yrs vs an investment of ,400k for solar power is not practical. Means sobrang Mahal.
    Kung may 400k ako, 3k per month sa kuriente min. interest sa banko time dep. is 3.5% p.a x 15 = 5x
    Haha….lugi.
    KayA still sobrang Mahal p talaga mag solar sa pinas. Price must be cut to minimum of 50% para balance.

Boss parang sobrang mura naman kuryente nya malayo yung ginamit na figure for estimate dapat close siya sa 5kw/hr usage para sa 5kw hour na estimate, eh sa akin nga eh 1-1.5kw lang yung rating ko but I pay 3400 – 5000 per month with only 1 aircon running almost 24hours (non-inverter pa kasi gamit ko) but I was rated.. so meaning sa 5kw na set-up that is his maximum use and he averages maybe 3-4kw on usage base na rin sa house so meaning he could be paying 9k – 13k a month? not sure just my assumption based on my own electric bill with minimal kw usage, maybe to get the proper ROI we should get his average monthly Bill? siguro mag average ROI sya withing 5-6 years lang that's why he chose 5kw system and not 3kw or 4kw? also the reason he chose 5kw set-up is because they plan to maximize it's usage? as that's what I'll do hindi na ako mag titipid sa kuryente if he averages 3.5-4.5kw/hr per day then he can save as much as 10k-15k of electric bill di ba?

  20. Been using my 1kW Off-Grid/Double Throw Set-up for 10months now. So far, no problem with batteries. However, this kind of set-up needs to be coupled with a lot of research before installation lalo na kung kagaya ko na DIY. I have no problems with installation fees coz we installed it ourselves.

  22. Malaki tipid ho q magamit an lahat ng energy q 9.6kwh kapacity ng battery nya q halimbawa 10peso per kwh. So 96 peso sa gabi plus sa araw 96 peso solar use din so 192 peso per day multiply for 30days in a month nsa 5760 peso more or less. So ROI around 7yrs.
